FIR registered against vaani kapoor and her parents in cheating case
Vaani Kapoor who ventured into the South Indian film industry with the Tamil and Telugu language romantic comedy Aaha Kalyanam, that proved to be a moderate box-office success and her portrayal of the lead female character was praised.
In the movie she shared the screen space with Natural Star Nani. The actress who created lot of buzz in Bollywood with Aditya Chopra’s Befikre opposite Ranveer Singh, has found herself in a legal tussle, that could possibly involve land mafia.
According to the latest update, an FIR has been reportedly filed against Vaani Kapoor and her parents-Shiv and Dimpy Kapoor, for fraudulently selling off a property that has been in security on a loan to the bank.
Seven years after owning this property, in 2015, the lady had allegedly realised that the land was already mortgaged to the bank since 2000, prompting her to follow this up with the Kapoors.
When that didn't work out, she filed an FIR against Vaani’s family for duping her and her husband, requesting the authorities to take strict action against the Kapoors.
However, a source close to the family revealed that Mr Tyagi is allegedly involved in land mafia dealings and he wants to use the case to intimidate the family into getting more money out from them.
Using media is another tactic of his to pressurize Kapoor by the threat of maligning his image and forcing him into a parting with his property.
